WOW this is Surprising...-.-

Just look at that...-.- this is so surprising.. searched for crap service but nothing..no results man

My Advice that if you HAD to fly with AirAsia is to bring light hand baggages even though there's the top compartment it sucks ass. AirAsia is the worst interms of space compared to JetStar

Stretch you legs ... where? What if you're trapped next to a big fat person?

You hate Man U but some of your aircraft has Man U Theme?,...-.-

A: You actually have pictures of some of the Man U stars on your planes. How much of this was based on the fact that you're a fan of Man U?
Tony Fernandes, CEO Air Asia:
Actually I hate Manchester United.
It was a very painful decision to sponsor them. But we all have to be a prostitute once in a while. I sort of side for West Am United which is a great training ground for adversity, 'cause they're always doing badly. But you know, hey, they're the biggest football club and the biggest brand...'

Now Everyone Can.....CRASH??!!! Omfg...

Stupid Captain Ravi didn't apply the brakes..how do airasia train their pilots....is there any regulations or inspections on their employees?? lmfao.

Unfair Treatment for the Disabled, and the Completely Immobile

Sorry. If you don't bring your legs -you get left behind. You have simply got to check out the highlighted section!
SEPANG: More than 20 disabled and wheelchair-bound members of the Barrier-Free Environment and Accessible Transport Group (BEAT) held a protest against AirAsia for its refusal to take passengers who were completely immobile. The protesters, headed by the group's co-ordinator Christine Lee, and assistant co-ordinators V. Murugeswaran and Peter Tan, demanded AirAsia reviews its policies and takes reasonable steps to ensure facilities and services provided at the low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT) are non-discriminatory.

Lee said that unlike KLIA, the LCCT does not incorporate aerobridges, which allow easier access for passengers to board planes. “Passengers are instead required to walk up a flight of boarding stairs – a daunting task when one is disabled from the waist down,” she said.
Lee said that when booking AirAsia tickets online, a separate icon would appear on the website asking if the ticket purchaser would require “special assistance”. “If you clicked 'yes', then you won't be able to proceed with your booking. “That's when I called AirAsia's call centre, and was told that they were unable to accept passengers who are completely immobile. “This is even stipulated in AirAsia's terms and conditions!” she added. Lee also said that AirAsia charged RM12 for renting out a wheelchair, which a passenger could use to go from the ticketing counter to the departure hall. “One would then have to go from the check-in gate to the aircraft without the wheelchair, which is quite absurd.”
Murugeswaran pointed out that AirAsia also stipulated that the carriage of persons with limited mobility was subject to whether they were able to climb the boarding stairs unaided or aided. “Passengers who are unable to board the stairs without any assistance would be requested to travel with a caregiver or companion. “This is blatantly discriminating, unfair and unacceptable. We want to be independent and not have to rely on other people to chaperon us when travelling,” he said, adding that nothing has been done despite BEAT holding a dialogue with AirAsia on the matter more than two years ago.During the protest, BEAT also urged Malaysia Airports Bhd to ensure all new and old airports in the country are equipped with facilities to improve accessibility to disabled passengers. When contacted, an AirAsia spokesman said they were unable to comment on the matter at present.

More-more-more and more critics

=. I took Air Asia once from KL to Medan and I did not like it that much. First I have to queue for a long time, once in Grand Central, another in the LCC terminal, to get ticket. Then, I found out about their unreasonable baggage facility. Luckily I was told by my uncle to carry as little as possible so I don’t have to pay expensive charges.

One time when i flew from alor setar to kl lcct cuz i had to visit my grandma fuck it man airasia crews sucks and i hate airasia and their fucking slow terminal crews i had to wait for the baggage conveyor belt it took almost 50 minutes just for the baggages to come. dam it their so lazy man just wants your cash.

Delays? Cheap Price for Cheapass service

What is the cause of all the delays? Operating on a minimum number of planes? So if there is a delay somewhere the problem snowballs to the later flights? Poor planning?

I fly AirAsia about 6 - 8 times a month, mainly Jakarta-KL-Jakarta, and sometimes on domestic routes in Malaysia as well. My personal experience is that the flights are about 80% on time.
I believe the delays occur because AirAsia aims for a turnaround time of 20 minutes, so if the aircraft was delayed for whatever reason on an earlier flight then the delay would be carried forward to the next sectors.
In general, morning flights are not delayed (except out of LCCT in KL - there the delays are caused by flight congestion, so that’s not within the control of AirAsia. The Malaysian government spent a huge amount building KLIA but they neglected the most important item - building enough runways!) But as the day goes on the chances of delay increases.
Now that AirAsia Malaysia has switched to the new Airbuses I find the seats are actually more comfortable than economy class on MAS. As for the rest, well you get what you pay for. I eat in the terminal before boarding and just buy a drink in flight to quench my thirst.
To be honest in the 5 years I’ve been flying AirAsia I’ve had only a few horror flights. Two or three were delayed for more than 2 hours, but the worst one was out of Jakarta sometime last year. The flight was delayed by about 1 hour, then the plane ran out of food and drink! They tell you that you cannot take your own food and drink on board. Then they tell you - we ran out, so too bad. Two hours on board without coffee, tea, Coke, Sprite, drinking water…just smiling stewardesses saying “we do not upload food and drinks from Jakarta…”
I know I’m paying 25-40% of the price of MAS so most of the time I console myself - “I paid peanuts, so AirAsia treats me like a monkey”.

I hate searching for vacant seats and flight delays. If you fly KL-Jakarta frequently, try KLM. If you buy thru the website, it’s only slightly more expensive than AirAsia. But considering that you get better facilities at KLIA than LCCT and free food onboard, I would say it’s worth it.Anyway, LCCT is only low cost for carrier, passengers still have to pay premium for foods, taxi, etc.

u gotta undersand the no of delays per day and therefore makes it almost impossible to send the sms. even then, each flight can be resecheduled numerous times so you at times dont know when is the real boarding time. ask the poor travellers who have experienced the exasperation.as for my experience, I have used Air Asia three times and none of which is on time. But, at least the maximum delay was less than 1.5 hours.gotta live with it at least for now until a more efficient LCC comes along.

TOny in person (lol)

I spoke to Tony myself during one of my KL-Jakarta flights… apparenty they were just short of aircrafts. One delay early in the morning somewhere will cause ripple effect to the rest of the flights for the whole day. With the Airbus coming into services maybe it will improve… poor AirAsia crews who had to put with the anger by frustrated customers while the big bosses are sitting in the airconditioned rooms looking at their share prices.

Cool Generator

I was just browsing the internet and found this ultracool generator that you can name an airliner. Here's the link : http://www.redkid.net/generator/plane/

Gallery Artwork

This Picture i made. lol

The stewardess pic is sad wtf???!! thats just sad...laying down on the job? rofl..-.-

If you have any pictures regarding how airasia sucks or making fun of them pictures email it to me at davonavich@gmail.com

Low Price??? just to catch your attention! Their lying!

30 cents??? wtf their just lying all of this is bullshit.

Don't forget their shitty award *with something that they didn't tell you but think their so great* AirAsia just looted ideas, cash from the government (Malaysia) and other Airline operators. look at this picture

Naturally, Air Asia didn't mention that their low-cost Airline Award was only for Asia - and not the significant award - a minor achievement when you consider direct competitor Jetstar won the World's Best Low-Cost Airline in the same World Airline Awards. That's the same Jetstar that is flying a good many of the same routes that Air Asia fly across Asia. Jetstar also picked up the World's Best Low-Cost Airline Australia/Pacific - across both awards beating out AirBerlin, EasyJet, Virgin Blue, FreedomAir and many others. You could safely include Air Asia. As to the second, the Airline of the Year from CAPA award - IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING - Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (www.centreforaviation.com) is "a specialist information and data services group focused on the aviation industry in the Asia Pacific region". Air Asia did win our award sponsored by I Hate Corporation 'The Most Phony bunch of pathetic clowns Company'.

AirAsia staff service

Posted by Admin: Last month 5 Sep I booked tickets to BKK through Airasia website ($299). After typed in my card number and click process, got message "gate error bla bla bla" I called their call centre in Malaysia to check and the staff confirm there is system error and deducted twice from my accounts. He told me to wait for 1 month for refund. Ok ... I'm thinking 1 month should be ok, just wait. But after 1 month there is no refund to my accounts. I called them twice, the staff cannot give me fixed date when to refund. I asked to talk with manager or Finance, they said"cannot connect me to them. The Finance will contact me" Ok ... I wait but nobody call me back. I am really fed up and called to them again, complained. Finally after waited for so long ... (I should claim my hp bill from them) got 1 lady from Refund department talked to me. The more I talked to her, the more angry I feel. She ask me to wait for 3 months cause lots of refund that has to be done. Normal is 1 month, but now got lots of refund to do so I must wait approximately 3 months. What the he** she is talking about? It is due to their own stupid system error and not my fault. Why I must wait for 3 months? I'm willing to wait for 1 month and now it's not enuff, must wait for 3 months now. So after 3 months later, what??? I must wait for 1 year??? THe customer service are damn lousy ... Now I really feel so angry, feel wanna exploded liao. What u all think? I will write email to STRAIT TIMES ... Can I go to CASE for help? Now it's not about moeny anymore. But about lousy service and proud staff in AIRASIA. I swear this is the first time and last time I take AIRASIA. Really pay peanut get big MONKEY

AirAsia Bad? Hell Yeah!

Posted by: Admin grr they are annoying. the whole flight was nothing but hassel yesterday. starting with the fact that they check in 2 hours before the flight not 3, and i got there half an hour early cause of lack of regular shuttle buses, so i had to wait an hour an a half before anything happened.
then i find out they have a 15kg luggage allowance, which is just stupid as every other airline is 20kgs. so after they forced me to check in my guitar, my luggage was 3kg over (though they tried to charge me for 4kg, i fought that charge). so eventually i pay and get it all over with, not happy, and extremely tired.
finally on the flight, they are rock hard chairs made of stone or lead or something, and apparently i’m not allowed to put my bag under the chair in front of me… whatever.
then eventually after hassel at KL airport, with the fact they don’t have any working cash machines so therefore i had no money except USD25 i happened to have in my wallet. if it wasn’t for that i would have been thoroughly screwed and stuck at another airport for another night. eventually i get to a hostel, which was quite a cool place, despite being diiirrrty, but it was a fun night and fully airconditioned dorm which was sweet. i was booked into a different hostel for tonight, so i head there this morning, check in, unpack everything, and find that the baaaasstards at air asia have broke my guitar, after all that!. thats why i told them i didn’t want to check it in but they forced me to. so i’m not happy.

AirAsia Problems

By Uspun : You’d think so too if your flight from Jakarta to Bali is delayed for about eight hours, and the idiots couldn’t even have the courtesy to sms or call you so you do not have to make the long trek to the dreaded domestic flights terminal of the Soekarno Hatta airport.
If there was more choice I would never fly Air Asia again. So LCCs out there please get your act together and give Air Asia a run for their money.

By Hazwan: Dude i hate airasia badly they steal other peoples' spotlight man what a party pooper poor mas and dude their freaking seats suck ass!! i can't even sleep properly because the seats can't tilt. AirAsia lies about everything i mean rm 7 for a ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Phuket??!! wtf it's just fake man, they just want to get your attention. The food menu is really bad shit stuff man i mean where's the freakin' halal symbol who fucking cares tony if your some punjabi guy with hindu religion, if you're operating in an islamic country show some respect.

By XX$p33dX: yala ..if im rich, i wont fly with airasia anymore..

By Bob: huhuh.. pay cheap fares.. get cheap service. LOL!!

By Arip: know something else…. i have been flying airasis quite often… used to be they breakdown the charges… like admin, tax and flight…. since if you do not fly u can claim the tax back….. but now they do not do that one lump sum figure ….cannot compare with MAs if you wanted too… atleast MAS provides the breakdown for tax

By anonymous: They are just copying the worst tricks of Ryanair.

By MAS supporter: After you get to the Bangkok airport at 4:30AM for a 7:15AM Air Asia flight, they inform you it has been cancelled. They give you a document stating, “Refund to Credit Card within 14 working days.”
They don’t return your money in 14 working days. The phone agents say you are wrong about the company’s promise. They say the policy is one month. They say they will “try” to make the refund within the next two weeks. My flight was on Oct 2nd. I still don’t have the refund.
None of it makes sense. We pay them within seconds of an online booking. They inconvenience the hell out of us by canceling the flight without notice, and then they play games with the refund.
Yes, Air Asia sucks. Big Time!

By anonymous: This is to inform everyone that Air-asia go insure is really sucks. Last August 2007 my husband make a travel to philippine using air-asia. He book a flight to philippine with round trip ticket and also applied the GoInsure (which we think may help if anything happen). After coming back from vacation, in the airport in MIRI malaysia. He need to go out right away since the driver who will pick him up is already waiting outside the airport. He wait for so long in the baggage counter but his baggage was find out lost. He right away filed-up a complain. The officer in the airport promised him to look for his lost baggage and will call him. In the baggage is some important items that my husband bought from philippines and bring to Brunei worth 10,000.00+.As we’ve known personal items we bought we usually don’t keep the receipt. To make the story short, we make a claim by filing up all the blah blah form and submit to GoIsure. Till now we don’t hear any news from them. We just got a promises, don’t just easily believe on those promises. I think its a lesson for all.But what to do, i think in Air-asia web site you don’t have any choice but to buy the insurance… haiiii poor performance or is it already planned?

By randomstuff93: Hmmm…I also heard all those rumors where AirAsia frequently changes their flight times…..They said, its better you arrive 5 hours earlier since Airasia time to fly really quite crazy…..Sometimes fly ealier sometime delays…those freakin’ crazy time….
I think Airsia provide people with quantity but not quality…
Sometime I also worried the air steward hair will fall into the food since the Airasia airsteward appearance really kinda like all they do not know how to tidy up their hair..hahathey look not beautiful nor elagant in anyway…kinda pity them.
I rather fly with MAS than Airasia….
PS: The sticky tag that they tag out luggage my father said like the GAM TIKUS that can be found around our house…since after I cut the tag off, the glue just wont go off….

By superm4mmy: This is a posting about how they try to suck your money.
They have recently redesigned their website so that it is now by default that you subscribe to Go Insure, Air Asia’s insurance cover for you against their delays and other accidents. The logic is that you insure yourself against their incompetencies for the privilege of flying with them.
Before you have to click a box to say you want to subscribe. But now it is inserted into your agenda on the left hand side of the website (see photo) . You now have to click no thanks, get a message and then click “cancel” to cancel your automatic subscription to Go Insure.
Although the website does explain how you can unsubscribe to Go Insure, it strikes me as a bit sneaky. All research on persuasion suggests that people will tend to opt for “defaults” Air Asia now makes sure that you have to work extra hard if you do not want to subscribe to the insurance cover they are trying to sell you.
A pity, because Air Asia garnered a lot of goodwill as the brand that brought cheap no-frills flight to Asia. It now looks like they’re trashing their brand equity with bad service, rescheduling of probably empty flights and stupid services like express boarding.
You could almost imagine some marketing consultant named Baldrick cozying up to Black Adder Tony Fernandez with: “I have a cunning plan…”
By impissedoff: Flight No.: AK5162From/To: Kuala Lumpur (Low Cost Carrier Terminal) - Sandakan (SDK)The taxi driver quoted MYR70 when I flagged his cab, to get to the new Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) at KLIA. It was about 11.35 am, and we reached the LCCT at around 12.40 pm after a 4 or 5-minute refueling stop. Apparently, he had turned on his meter, and it showed MYR59.80 when I got down. He did pay about MYR4.80 for road toll, and if one adds MYR2 for extras for my 2 pieces of luggage, the MYR70 seems quite reasonable.1240 Got off cab in front of the entrance to Domestic Departures. No trolleys nearby - had to walk about 20 metres to get one.1245 The flight board indicates that the check-in counter for my flight is R38. After security clearance, I enter the check-in area, past a sign that prohibits non-passengers from entering such area. A 40-foot (using those floor tiles as a method to measure) long queue at R38 greeted me, and a similarly long Q was at R39. It turned out R39 was also a counter for my flight, but there was no mention of this on the screen above it. As for R38, the screen above it was blank too, for no one was manning it. Elsewhere at other counters, it was disorderly; snaking Qs were to be seen at virtually all the counters open for check in. Great, here I am, with Air Asia warning us that check in counters would close about 40 mins before the flight, and 75 mins before our scheduled departure, we have 2 40-feet long Qs. It seems the standard now is 2 counters per flight.1253 The word "Sandakan" appears on the screen above counters R38 and R391254 It happened. I received a SMS, and my fellow queue mates also reached for their cell phones. My SMS read "Urgent!Flight AK5162 from KLIA(LCCT)- Sandakan on 2 Apr is now retimed [note that "delayed" is a dirty word to Air Asia] to 3.00pm(1500hrs)For further info pls call 03-78849918.Sorry for the inconvenience caused"1308 I think I'm now 11th in the Q, an improvement from, say, 17th when I first joined it. I'm now 28 feet away from the counter.1317 Only now do I notice it: for several minutes before this, perhaps, R39 was not manned at all. The pax in that Q look hopefully at R38, and a few of those at the front of that Q converged on R38. Soon we have a situation of 2 queues, but 1 counter, a sharp V-formation. Further to the right, at R46 and R47 (which served a Bintulu-bound flight) there were 2 staff but no more pax wanting to check in, but everyone seemed oblivious to the suffering at R38 and R39. 1324 The staff manning R38 walked over to the 2 staff at R46 and R47. Appeared to remonstrate with them on something.1326 He returns to his counter. The staff from R47 comes over to R39, while the one at R46 walks away1327 The staff manning R38 walks away towards the Departure Hall. In the same way that R39 pax converged on R38 earlier, the reverse has now taken place!!!!!!!!!!!!1339 The R38 staff who had been gone returns, and hopes are raised, only to be cruelly dashed when he walks away again towards the Departure Hall barely a minute later.1352 I'm now 10 feet away from the (R39) counter, on one of the arms of the "V". The Q behind me could be another 20 feet long. Near the rear of my arm of the "V" was a white-haired Caucasian gentleman, around 60 years of age, of whom I shall mention further down.1356 A staff comes to R38, but it wasn't for the purpose of serving Sandakan-bound pax. Almost immediately, the word "Sandakan" disappeared from the screens above both R38 and R39.1405 I'm now 8 feet away; there's only one Q now, not sure how the other arm of the "V" dispersed. I had been observing the expressions on the faces of my fellow queue mates, but on the whole they seemed stoic about the whole thing - unlike mine, there didn't seem to be any sour faces. Maybe they are what Air Aisa would regard as model customers i.e. those who accept that for low fares, hey, what else do you want? Or could it be that we Malaysian consumers are such a docile lot, that we don't complain vigorously when some large corporation screws us up? Can someone from Western countries tell me what the customer's reaction would be if they were treated like this?1409 It's my turn finally!!!! My first piece of luggage weighed 8.5 kg, the second, 11.9 kg. Total = 20.4 kg, and I'm 5 kg overweight. The staff pointed to my lighter luggage and said "This one you hand carry, ah" He then explained that he was not accepting it as checked-in baggage because I would then be overloaded. (But it still goes on board the plane! Or is this non-charging for overweight a "goodwill gesture" for all our suffering? Some pax earlier also had their baggage "rejected" in such manner) Knowing that they charge MYR10 per kg, I didn't complain, rather, I welcomed it. [Could it be that had it been checked in and I had to pay, the payment process would further delay other pax in the queue, and so the staff was desperate to clear the Q as ASAP?] But it would mean I'll be boarding with 3 pieces of hand luggage - the "rejected" (cabin-sized) luggage, my laptop bag and 2 supermarket-size shopping bags (containing some perishables)!!! My laptop bag caught his eye, and he asked, is that your laptop inside? Most convenient answer: Yes. No further questions.1410 He handed me my boarding pass and told me to go to Gate P5 IMMEDIATELY. No way, man. Not after being screwed by Air Asia into standing in Q for 85 minutes!!!!!!!!! All that queuing had made me so angry and hungry, I wanted something to eat, such that at that point in time I wouldn't have cared if I had caused the flight to be delayed!!!! this time, Air Asia, it'll be YOU who will have to wait for ME!!!!!!!!! But, Air Asia soon turned the tables on me........ read further below1411 As I made my way to the food outlets, the flight board still showed the Q for Sandakan is R38. There were 3 outlets - McDonald's, Asian Delight and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Went to the latter, and the MYR7.40 for a chicken pie and MYR9.30 for a "large" hot chocolate sure beats the living daylights out of a MYR6 Air Asia sandwich and MYR4 cup of (instant?) coffee!!!!!!Around 1440-1445, I entered the Departure Hall. As the aircraft are now parked at remote bays, there's no way of telling which plane is yours. I saw one just outside Gate P5, and (correctly) guessed it would be the one I'll be flying on. Some baggage was being unloaded from its cargo hold, so I assume it had just arrived. A catering truck was at its rear left door; funny, I thought they usually use the right doors.1450 Then the thing about kiasuism kicks in. This is Air Asia's fault - not bothering to change their systems to allow for pre-numbered seating [I was on Impulse Air, a LCC in Australia, back in 2000, and they did allow for pre-numbered seating]. Those who desired some control over where they might sit, which is over 60% of the pax, formed a Q in anticipation of the boarding call being made, but even here, Air Asia had to screw us into standing in line for nearly half an hour.1500 Saw a flight and cabin crew make their way onto our plane. The previous crew got down about 5-10 minutes earlier. So much for being "retimed" to 3.00 pm. The catering truck seems to be a permanent fixture at the rear door (2L).1510 As Gate P5 was also to have been for a flight to Kuching, the staff, seeing a sea of humanity here, came on air and advised that the Kuching flight isn't ready for departure yet, so please take a seat. No one from the crowd seems to respond.1512 Around this time, a A320 with the Manchester United livery taxiied in. The rest of the planes on the tarmac are B733s.1515 At last, the boarding call is made. Families with children were given preference. After such a frustrating time in 2 Air Asia queues, everone was anxious to get out and onto the plane. It was now that an extraordinary incident took place. As you can imagine, with all the kiasuism, people were slightly disorderly about the boarding process. A white-haired Caucasian man, around 60 years of age, who was about 3 metres to my left, shouted at those behind and around him: Can you all move back a bit, stop pushing and be civilised, there's children there [Where, sir? I don't see no kids any more, they have all gone on board]..... come on, move back, move back, does it take a Mat Salleh to do this for you?For a start, this gentleman was speaking to the wrong audience - he was already near the front of the queue, and there was no way those immediately behind or beside him could "move back", such is the "pressure" from further behind the queue - he should have gone towards the middle section to shout his orders. But that'll mean he will have to give up his position in the Q!But I do sympathise with him, for he could well have been in the R38 Q longer than me, and therefore, just as annoyed - in fact, he was perhaps the third last pax to check in. With all the frustration, such an outburst was not surprising. So, let me join him in the spirit of empathy: AIR ASIA SUCKS!Not only that, another reason for the boarding chaos is that Air Asia only opened one of the 2 glass doors, and so the width of the exit to the tarmac was a mere 2.5 feet!! And for the first few minutes only one agent was processing the pax boarding passes, hence the slow boarding. If only they had opened the other door and had a second agent there right from the start. It's not like there's no manpower - at least one staff was sitting at the staff counter near that exit door.Which reminds me of the following observation: that staff was, during our boarding process, making an announcement that the flight to Kuching, which had been delayed, is expected to arrive at 1520 - they will begin the boarding at 1540. Uh, if Air Asia schedules their turnaround time for 25 minutes only, how can they finish boarding, and commence pushback, etc. in just 5 minutes? That staff went on to tell the pax that their plane would be a A320, and that "there are 50 more seats at the rear", as though to assure them they'll have lots of space. Wonder what that's supposed to mean? Sure, they can carry 180 pax compared to 148 on the B733, but what if all 180 seats have been sold out???To state the obvious, there are no aerobridges here, and so Air Asia saved MYR85 on that. For those who didn't like exposure to the sun, umbrellas were offered. Boarding was thru only Door 1L, no staircase at 2L. Funny, I remember Air Asia saying that one of the key advantages of tarmac-based boarding/disembarking is that you can go in/out using TWO doors, making the whole process faster. They seem to be breaking every business principle for this particular flight.Once on board, I settled for seat 12C, an aisle seat that's also on an emergency exit row (with more legroom than usual). The FA ordered me to stow everything in the overhead bin, none must be in under the seat in front of me since it's an exit row.1534 Pushback. I had noticed that at this low cost terminal, all the planes leave by having a towing vehicle push them back. I couldn't help thinking that with a bit of design modification on the part of the airport, they could leave (in a forward direction) by their own power, no need for pushbacks. Those towing vehicles cost money to operate, you know.During pushback, the usual welcome address, almost similar to that on Malaysia Airlines, was made, plus an apology for the delay. Yup, we're 35 minutes delayed compared to our "retimed" departure time. I had noted that when I entered the Departure Hall around 1445, the plane I am now on was already on the tarmac. Around that time, I saw the ground crew unload all the baggage from the previous flight. Now, about 50 minutes later, this plane is finally leaving. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO AIR ASIA's TARGET OF 25 MINUTES TURNAROUND TIME?!?!?!?!?! Or could it be that it's simply an unachievable target? Hence the numerous delays to their flights? Even Malaysia Airlines allows for 40 minutes turnaround time for the B734s!1535 Begin taxiing1536 Safety demo. Words used are virtually the same as those on Malaysia Airlines.1543 Line up on runway. For about 60 seconds precious fuel is burnt, maybe to show that Air Asia may be low cost but they sure can afford to burn it!!!1544 Takeoff roll, about 35 seconds later we are airbourne. During takeoff roll, the overhead stowage compartment cover just behind me broke open, maybe it wasn't closed securely. (Air Asia and their cabin crew ought to have their knuckles rapped for not ensuring it's secure before departing.) Here, the pax in 13F did something that I don't know whether to say heroic or idiotic. We were in the middle of takeoff roll, and he unfastened his seat belt, stood up, tried to close the cover, with one leg over his girlfriend's thigh in 13D, the other on the floor. Fortunately everything turned out OK, but I suspect none of the Air Asia cabin crew knew what happened, for from their seats in the rear galley, they couldn't have had a view of the cabin.1546 Fasten seat belt light goes off, and an advice on the pax's freedom, which sounds almost word-for-word from Malaysia Airlines, is given. It goes on to advice that food and drinks sales would soon begin, plus a dire warning that pax aren't allowed to consume food from non-Air Asia sources. Who cares? Especially after being screwed up into queuing for 85 minutes??The rest of the flight was uneventful. After the food/drinks sales, another cart, laden with Air Asia-Manchester United co-branded merchandise, came down the aisle. Hardly anyone paid attention to it - don't they know that only a small percentage of their pax might happen to be MU fans????. And even if I'm a MU fan, I'd say, after today's experience, that Air Asia doesn't deserve to have it's name alongside my favourite club's name!!!!!!!!!1805 Announcement: we will be landing soon, please fasten your seat belts, etc. etc. It then goes on to say that removal of life jackets is a very serious offence, hmmm, Malaysia Airlines doesn't have this kind of announcement. Hey, in fact, MAS even did away with explicitly mentioning the "death penalty" for narcotics smuggling!!!!! Looks like Air Asia is going the opposite direction! The FA came round with a garbage bag, and I boldly placed into it the remains of my non-Air Asia pre-packed cup of mineral water in her full view. No reaction from her.1816 Touchdown, and our flying time had been around 2 hours 30 minutes, 15 minutes less than usual. At least they made the effort to fly the plane faster. The announcement that we have landed, etc. came on. It went on to say please note Air Asia check in counters close 40 mins before departure (funny they should want to tell pax who are about to disembark), and that they are proud to announce that Air Asia is the Official Low Fare Carrier of Manchester United. On this note I wonder: will there ever be an Air Asia plane that will fly those (millionaire) MU players around on their next Asian tour? At least for Malaysia Airlines a few years ago, their planes (an A330, I think) flew the Real Madrid team on their Asia tour, and they could claim that the likes of Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo (darn, why do I keep mentioning only those galacticos, when I fully agree with someone's sentiment that it's as though they are the only blxxdy people at the club?????) flew with them! Like I said earlier, after today's experience, Air Asia doesn't deserve to be associated with my favourite team (not that I'm a MU fan)!1810 The disembarking was done through both doors. At least Air Asia's Sandakan staff showed that they can perform better than their counterparts at the much-vaunted new Low Cost carrier Terminal at KLIA, the new home of Air Asia!!

Who is the founder of AirAsia?

Tony Fernandes of course. This guy is obsess with Richard Branson and copies all his ideas into AirAsia. The logo looks the same as virgin atlantic's logo. What copyer. AirAsia Sucks! Go back to India you Loser.. you're sad
